Our trip to Pukimokimoki Marae

 We are very excited to announce we have been invited to spend the night at our local marae. Pukimokimoki is a teaching marae, provided by the Napier City Council. Schools and kindergartens are regularly invited to visit. This year, we have decided to have an overnight stay. We will need lots of parent helpers. 

Itinerary: 11:45: Meet outside the marae. We will be welcomed on with a formal powhiri. Women/girls please wear a full length long black skirt/dress.

12:00/12:30: Formal welcomes and waiata. Our children have been practising their waiata to share with our hots. Please ask them to sing to you!

12:30 - 5:30: Lots of games, and freeplay. 

5:30: Dinner, prepared by our hosts. 

6:30: Lily's learning centre talent show!

7:30: Freeplay, and bed when you are ready.
