This is always an exciting enjoyable day.  A reminder that whanau are more than welcome to stay, and we aim to eat at approx 11:30. As well as the yummy kai that whanau bring, the centre is laying down a hangi. Provided by two of of families expertise. Special thanks to Te Ahu, and Ikaia for lending us their dads!

Parenting Toolbox Night: We have the privilege of hosting a toolbox evening with Ian and Mary Grant on November 9th. This will be an informative evening, with lots of innovative techniques and tips to help you through some tricky situations with this challenging age group (2-5). Pizza provided. Come along and have some laughs and pick up some tips!!!

Special Toys: A reminder to parents that while special toys are permitted to come along with your child, we can take no responsibility for their loss. We do our upmost to keep special toys safe, but occasionally, they can and do go missing.

Sunhats: Please pack a sunhat with your child, the days are beginning to warm up, and it is lovely to spend more of our days outside. Sunscreen is provided in each room, it is up to you to apply this to your child in the morning. We suggest that you make it part of your goodbye ritual. If it needs reapplying through the day, the teachers will do this for you.

Papatuanuku: We have some children who are avid collectors of the spoils of papatuanuku while they are out. We love receiving these items, please leave any collected treasures on our science table, after they have been thoroughly inspected by our budding scientists, they will get reassigned to different areas around the centre, Check out our art table, where the children have been experimenting with paint and feathers.
